Assist Access Maintain Employee
Individuals and groups who receive workplace assistance through the NDIS can leverage professional networks to connect with employers and access job opportunities. The Assist Access/Maintain Employee program is designed to support individuals in maintaining their employment once they have secured a job.
Participants who have already secured employment before enrolling in the NDIS are also eligible for support. The specific forms of support and their compliance with Commonwealth Quality and Safeguards depend on the jurisdiction and may include certifications such as the National Standards for Disability Services obtained through the Human Services Scheme.
The NDIS provides access to employment support services that help participants acquire essential skills for success in the modern economy. This includes assistance with resume writing, interview preparation, and other aspects of the job search process.
